Could you water marble your toenails?

I really want to water marble my nails but I'm in softball and we aren't allowed to have long fingernails incase one of them breaks or something lol. So my nails aren't long enough to paint without looking dumb. Plus, I want my toes to look good for the beach. Can I water marble my toenails?
